I grew up on a farm in the Thumb area of Michigan and tended livestock, greenhouses, and 2 roadside produce stands as a kid and teenager. I studied Engineering for a few years at Michigan Technological University in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and later completed a Business Management degree at neighboring Finlandia University. I spent over 25 years in Radio Broadcasting and advertising in Michigan and Florida, but during the long recession after the economic crash in 2009 I decided it might be time to pursue a different career path. Becoming an Insurance Broker, and specifically Medicare Insurance, has given me the opportunity to help people directly and spend more time with my family since moving to South Carolina in 2014. I have 2 daughters, 2 step-daughters, and 9 grandchildren!
